Sustainable fashion

Consumer demand for products that are better for people and planet are on the rise. The UK’s ethical consumer spending skyrocketed to 141 billion in 2023 as the second hand clothing market experienced an unprecedented surge. Buying vintage and pre-loved fashion is a win for people and planet, but building a circular economy for fashion is more complex. How does that work? What comes next?

The Good Clothes Show invites you to meet the new makers too. The re-workers, the upcyclers and the innovators who are creating the next generation of textiles from clothes that are no longer wearable. The artisans weaving works of wearable art from natural fibres and the innovators engineering new fibres from sustainable sources. Explore the future of fashion, look good, have fun, and come together to share the stories of how our clothes get made.

Sustainable
fashion

As more and more conscious consumers want more from their clothes, we yearn to align our self-expression with our values. We seek out ethical brands and makers who share our commitment to compassion while still having fun with fashion.

The Good Clothes Show is where high ideals and high fashion unite to create better tomorrows.
