Sandie Roberts (they/them) is a gender-fluid, disabled speaker, model and founder of The Shine Collective. After becoming a full-time wheelchair user in 2019, Sandie rebuilt everything—body, identity, confidence—and now uses runway, media and lived experience to challenge ableism and outdated norms in fashion. Their work centres inclusive, adaptive style and representation for those in midlife, as well as disabled, neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities. On stage and on set, Sandie holds space for the beautiful, messy realities of confidence, queerness, heartbreak and healing—and invites audiences to take up space, live more honestly, and stop shrinking for a world that profits from your silence.
