Reclaimed Textile Sea Scape Workshop with Jade Holt
Fall back in love with your old clothes and save them from landfill by Joining Jade Holt from @lila.rose.clothes and create an underwater sea scape created from salvaged textiles from the coast of the Isle of Sheppey and reclaimed materials.
Plastic is the main polluter of our seas and oceans but the textile and fishing industry are the main source of litter on the UK coasts, with clothing, rope and small nets the main
Kits containing textiles collected from the shore of the Isle of Sheppey can be purchased on the day or before to secure your place to breathe life into your old clothing. Some sewing skills would be an advantage but not essential as there will be opportunities to learn on the day.
